AI models have a fixed context window. When it fills up, earlier conversation is silently dropped. Headroom gives you a real-time gauge so you know when to start fresh. Features: customizable thresholds, per-round token breakdown, a six-writing-system estimation engine with calibrated coefficients, and privacy-first design — conversation text read then discarded, only counts stored.

Optional Upstash sync: works offline by default, but connect your own free Upstash Redis instance (256 MB, 500K requests/month — far beyond typical personal use) and your settings plus token counts follow you across devices. Data lives in your private storage; credentials never leave the browser. No Headroom server.
