Used to work great, but after recent changes from Youtube, it causes the videos to not play at all.

It's broken.

Doesn't work / not updated, use Youtube audio_only instead (this one work as intended as I write this review, today (end of 2023)

With this extension enabled, I get the text shown in the screenshots overlaid on top of a still frame from the video and the audio does not play.

Whether on desktop or laptop, this always fails to allow playback, and produces message
"An error occurred. Please try again later. (Playback ID:..."

I use NoScript and uBlock Origin and Return YouTube Dislike
