av Firefox-användare 15107490, för 5 år sedanIt seems to skip articles now and then for no apparent reason. I noticed that behaviour when reading web comics, getting confused because of missing pages. The articles show up in the feed preview but that's it. I found no way to have it download an article once it has been skipped. The only fix is deleting the feed and adding it again ... until it skips one the next time.

postad för 5 år sedanWithout the feed URL it's a bit hard to troubleshoot this but Feedbro 4.5.0 now properly handles XML feeds that are in "oldest first" order which might have caused this in certain situations.
Edit (2020-07-29): another thing we noticed (and is fixed in 4.5.1 which is soon available) is that Firefox has a bug in Date object parsing when the year is expressed with just two digits. For example this string "Mon, 31 Aug 20 13:00:28 +0200" was parsed by Firefox JavaScript Date object as Wed Aug 20 2031 14:00:28 GMT+0300. This worked fine on Chromium-based browsers which made it hard to spot. This is also a likely reason for those skipped articles.
Of course, it would be have been a lot quicker to track down with a feed URL to test with. So for everyone else as well: if you think there's a bug somewhere, please include a feed URL that we can test it with.

Imported my opml export from my old reader. It handles my podcast feeds and news feeds and is very customisable. - Betygsatt 5 av 5av Gunnar, för 16 dagar sedanGreat feed reader, highly customizable. One detail I like is the titles view where you for example can scroll various news headlines for all feeds in a folder and check single teasers by clicking on the title bar (not on the title link).

These are things that really annoy me from time to time, but the rest of the functionality is good enough that I do recommend it. At the very least the developers do seem to be very open about bugs and other info.

- Betygsatt 5 av 5av Firefox-användare 13513971, för 3 månader sedanI haven't touched an RSS Feeder in a while since most of them had clunky interfaces that were quite reliant on point-and-click. Thank goodness this RSS reader exists. It's definitely made with speed and efficiency in mind as stated in their About section! I LOVE shortcuts in any app I go with, and the devs actually understand how important shortcuts are! My favorite is the versatility of the feed view -- there are 6 options to choose from and I love how I can just scroll through full articles if I wanted to. The different view modes work perfectly if you're subscribed to different kinds of sites, like news articles to image-heavy sites or blogs. Interface is simple, no fuss and loads stuff really fast. Keeps my peace of mind! Thank you developers!

postad för 4 månader sedanHi Henna! If you open Feedbro Options page, you can export your feed subscriptions as OPML file. You can then import those subscriptions again if you get a new computer. It's good to take this backup occasionally. - Betygsatt 5 av 5av Duckjing, för 4 månader sedan
- Betygsatt 4 av 5av skribe, för 5 månader sedanA great addon. The only thing missing is autosync between devices, but that's not necessarily a showstopper.
