9witz collects no personal data and sends nothing to the developer or any third party. There are no servers, accounts, analytics, tracking or ads.

Stored on your device only (browser.storage.local, removed when you uninstall the add-on):
- your settings
- a cache of up to 10,000 9GAG usernames with the public creation date of their accounts, read from the data 9GAG's pages already load
- the state of the support cards (when the next reminder is due, your own 9GAG username and account creation date as shown on 9GAG, the ranks you were already congratulated on)
- a counter of rank badges shown since the last reminder

Network requests go only to 9GAG: if a rank badge is still missing after two seconds on screen, 9witz loads that user's public profile page from 9gag.com, the same page you would see by clicking the name. The download button downloads the video from 9GAG's servers, "Open JPG" opens the image from 9GAG's servers. These requests are subject to 9GAG's privacy policy.

Ko-fi is only contacted when you click a donation link; then Ko-fi's privacy policy applies.
