I appreciate the work the developer has done, but until the NoScript bug can be fixed - you can't whitelist the add-on so it can't be used - this is unusable for those of us using NoScript - which is a hell of a lot of people!

Sorry, Oleksandr, but this is no good.

Menu bar no longer shows forecast options. Without this the add-on is not useful. And what is with the advertising hooks? Removing the add-on until this is fixed.

in my task line i found now on pic, i must open this before i can see my weather.
in your last version i have the week in my task line and morning and evening, now a symbol and finish.

Awwww, I have the add-on bar but the weather is all gone from it now. I deleted it and tried reinstalling but I see nothing with this new one. I am running Firefox 64bit ver 53. I will miss this for sure.

Recently, this add-on, which WAS wonderful and did exactly what I wanted it to do, changed.

And in a very bad way.

No longer do I have an at-a-glance forecast of my local area without having to do anything. Now, it's a click to get that, and ANOTHER click to get the menu and ANOTHER click to reload the data if it didn't update recently.

It's a gigantic step backward and on par with the other junk that's out there that I passed over to get a forecast and conditions that were clear, easy to see and extended out without any more effort than to start the browser.

Stability wasn't ever an issue in the Fixed version. It worked as I expected it to and was glad to see it. I am now looking for another add-on that has an unobtrusive, always-on display of the forecast and current conditions like this one used to have.

OTOH, if I could get a link to the OLD VERSION, and take it off the update channel, I'd do that, too. It was fine before and now it's more work to use than before. I'd like the old one back.

I could still do it with a restored add-on bar last night, why not today?

Now it's totally useless! The statusbar can be restored with The Addon Bar (restored). Fortunately I did not make a donation or were lost money!

I just donated for the very good last version and today all settings are destroyed for a absolutely unusable updated version - wished I wouldn't have done so!
The last version urgently needs to be downloadable again.

I am a 52 ESR user that has my add -ons update automatically. I didn't realize that it wasn''t compatible for me. I was having trouble with the 2.4.8 version not updating the location but I see below that you are working on a fix. Is there any way that I can recapture Forecastfox (fix version) 2.4.8 at this point. really miss this add-on. Please advise

This rating should be a five. Please fix your addon, I rolled back to 2.4.8 and disabled updates until it is fixed, like I did with the old version when this happened. This addon as it WAS, is vital for me in my life, for many reasons. Please make it work right.

Mine is still there you can add additional toolbars, mine is across the bottom with the weather across it . Not sure how long I can go with this working I'm on 53.2

Liked to be able to see all icons for multiple days and nights stretched across the menu bar. Plus have access to quick icons: radar, 5 day, hover over weather icon, get details for that day/night and so on. Use it on Laptops and Firefox. What is 3.4 intended for?
Response to Developer: None of my other Addons are broken. I know that FF [using 53.0.2] has changed its way of dealing with things overtime. Sigh...will use old version for as long as it is possible. I mean the old one works perfectly right now. In meantime will look for an alternative.

I have no idea why you decided to ruin the best weather app available,were you having a bad day? What set this weather app apart from all the others was the ability to glance up or down and see the weather for numerous days without having to click.If you wanted more details then you clicked.I sure hope you re-think this terrible update.

This update has ruined one of my favorite add-ons. I have this positioned in the tab area of the frame instead of the status bar. I can also move it to either the menu bar or the bookmark bar. Can those positions still be used after the introduction of the new API?

I find it difficult to understand why the developer(s) decided to destroy the best features of this addon as part of an update.

There are dozens of weather addons available that give users one icon on the toolbar showing really limited information unless they click on the icon. What set Forecastfox apart from all the others was that users could view multiple-day forecast all at once, without the need to click on anything. In addition, users were given quick and easy access to a radar map, hourly forecasts, and detailed five-day forecasts. The only other addon that even came close to this level of functionality was AniWeather, but apparently, that one doesn't work at all anymore.

So, for whatever reason, you have chosen to ruin Forecastfox by reducing it to the level of all the other pathetic competitors, which means that I'll be staying on the previous version as long as possible.
