The purpose of this extension is to help developers inside the ShowingTime organization to create an appropriate Git branch name.
The extension is present on the Jira webpage below the ticket name. Following the ShowingTime front-end coding style guide, the algorithm for generating a branch name is based on the developer's initials, Jira ticket number, and Jira ticket name. Near to suggested branch name, there is a button to copy the name to the clipboard.
