- Avaliado em 5 de 5por Jon F, a há 4 mesesWonderful extension that has saved my butt many, many times over the years and I'm sure will do so for many more.
Very glad for this extension and also glad to have chipped in a few Euros from time to time. Thank you Stephan for the work you have put in for a real life saver, and please know it is appreciated.

I was encountering two bugs simultaneously, one locally in Firefox, messing up displayed data (cache issues), and one in my hosting provider service, mixing up creation and modification dates ... so, I was not editing the file I thought (kind of wiki thing, online web page editor). So at the point I thought I had lost 1 to 2 months of INTENSE WORK, I visited this module, to check if by huge CHANCE it had saved any data recently ... and, the plugin pointed out that since 1 week I was editing the wrong file (with Firefox showing the wrong URL in the address bar), and then I could prove that my web server was showing creation dates in the modification column.
I was about to release my project sunday night.
Without this plugin, I would have lost 2 months of work (1 for preparing the project, 1 working on it), and because I am short of money, I would have been forced to abandon it ... at less than 60h from launch time. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por jchronakis, a há um ano

- Avaliado em 5 de 5por DudeGuy, a há 2 anosWorks exactly as I need it to, good job! I used to use Lazarus on FF years ago, and have been using Typio on Chrome, now that I'm making the move back to FF, this is exactly what I needed.
- Avaliado em 5 de 5por Mister GothFvck, a há 2 anosThis addon has saved so many long threads and e-mails. I'm so glad it exists and have recommended it to many people.
I imagine many computer screens have not been smashed because FHC saved entries when machines froze. lol. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por asdkofoaweifiwae, a há 2 anosForm history is epic and the only replacement for lazarus but it keeps on giving itself its FF shortcut commands back! Despite going into about:addons and deleting its currently active shortcuts, those shortcuts are restored after this extension is.. updated or saved somehow.

One request though: Please make it so you can select text again in the 'Form field' window (the window with View: HTML, Markdown, Wiki, Text). I used to be able to do this many versions ago (I guess 6 months ago?), and it really helped to partially grab stuff. There's another specific case where copying the HTML from the Markdown notation actually works better than the default way of 'Restoring Editor fields' (via Context menu) for one particular site I use with a WYSIWYG editor for Invision forum software.
It's entryview.css 'user-select: none;' on body{} - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 15918521, a há 4 anos(X) Free & Open Source

My only warning is that it can save some very personal data, and AFAIK it is not stored encrypted, so be cautious, especially when websites take credit card details or passwords in plaintext without correctly telling the browser to not store these values.
The default clear time is some 90 days which seems far to long if you forget to clear such sensitive data. I would recommend reducing it down to your longest browsing session (time until you close all your tabs and start again), which for me is a few days. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 12166271, a há 4 anosThis is a wonderful extension. The developer is to be commended.

publicado a há 4 anosOlder (pre WebExtensions) versions of Form History Control stored extra information in the cleanup.sqlite file. This file is located in the root of your profile folder, you can simply delete this file.
For an explanation on where to find the profile folder see: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data.
I do provide an export/import utility, see: https://github.com/stephanmahieu/formhistory-export
