publicado há 4 mesesOpen source projects can be sponsored, and it's perfectly fine to list sponsors at the bottom of the settings page. I'm not sure what kind of advertisements and data harvesting tool are you seeing, but anyone can indeed verify that you're making stuff up by going to GitHub.
This is the commit that lists the logo of sponsors on the options page of the extension:

It was always having trouble with loading every single time, as it would only load every once in a while. Now when it loads, it will search for a random gray photo with random symbols and I can't get out of it. Any suggestions? If I was able to post photos, I would.

publicado há 3 diasMy impression is that you're using a fork of Firefox for Android that is customized to the point of breaking essential web APIs, but you'd have to share more details in a GitHub issue to figure out what went wrong on your device.
