ZIP Search is a clean, distraction-free Firefox extension that makes zip-search.com your default search engine and new tab page. Search privately, without being profiled or tracked.

What changes when you install ZIP Search

• Your new tab becomes a focused search page: just the ZIP Search logo, a search box, and a language selector. No news feeds, no widgets, no noise.
• Your address bar searches go directly to zip-search.com, so every search — whether you type in the URL bar or open a new tab — stays private.

Language and region support

ZIP Search supports 33 languages out of the box. The extension detects your browser's language automatically and selects the matching search region, so results are locally relevant from the moment you install it. You can switch languages at any time using the selector on the new tab page, and your choice is remembered across sessions.

ZIP Search does not collect browsing history, search queries, or any personal data. The extension requires only two permissions:

• Storage — to remember your selected language between sessions.
• Tabs — to ensure the correct search region is applied when you search from the address bar.
