What Dinged is a small app for Mac and Windows that notices every sound your computer makes and shows which app made it. This extension adds the missing piece: when the sound came from your browser, it tells the app exactly which tab it was. Click the sound in What Dinged and you land on that tab, even if it is buried in another window.

What it does:

• Names the exact tab that started playing sound
• Takes you to that tab with one click from the What Dinged app
• Optionally marks background tabs that made a sound with ♪ until you visit them

Your browsing stays private. The extension talks only to the What Dinged app on your own computer, through the browser's native messaging. It sends nothing over the internet, has no analytics or tracking, and stores only your on/off choice for tab marks.
