Umbra is a local-first site blocker for Firefox.

Block noisy sites so they never load. Add a short pause before a marked site opens. Hide Shorts, Reels, and infinite feeds on sites you choose. Use Flow for a timed focus session that keeps the list locked until the timer ends.

Limits cap how many tabs a site may keep open, and can cap YouTube quality or block video with Data saver. Pulse shows time spent. Notes stay in this browser unless you sign in.

Sign-in is optional. Stay signed out and the list lives on this computer. Sign in at https://umbra-blocking.vercel.app and the website dashboard becomes the source of truth. The lock password never leaves this browser.

The popup is available in English and Arabic.
