Talysman for Firefox is the browser companion to the Talysman desktop app. During an active focus session, it applies the website-blocking rules configured in Talysman directly inside Firefox. The Talysman desktop app must be installed and running.
Rules update automatically when your focus status or website configuration changes. The toolbar popup shows the desktop connection, focus status, and rule status. Blocking is configured entirely in the desktop app; the extension does not provide separate blocking controls.
The extension communicates only with the locally installed Talysman companion through Firefox native messaging. It does not collect or transmit browsing history or website activity.
