When several tabs come from the same site, their identical favicons make the tab strip hard to scan. Tab Tint lets you number or recolor the existing logo, enter a custom letter, or replace it with a solid marker.

• Add auto-incrementing, per-site number badges to the existing logo.
• Add a high-contrast color frame while keeping the logo visible.
• Enter a custom letter or pick markers with the mouse or number keys 1–6.
• Restore the site's original favicon at any time.
• No background process and no all-sites access.

The marker is intentionally temporary: reloading or navigating the tab restores the page's own favicon.
