Skybox Verification Codes fills in the one-time codes that websites mail to your Skybox inbox. A site asks for the six-digit code it just sent you, the mail arrives, and the extension types the code into the field for you. Sign-in and confirmation links from your mail are one click away in the popup.

HOW IT WORKS

• Recognises code fields on any page: one-time-code inputs, fields labelled as a code, and rows of single-digit boxes.
• Listens for new mail only while a code field or the popup is open. The rest of the time it is idle.
• Codes and links are recognised by your Skybox server, the same way the Skybox apps do it. The extension itself does not read or parse your mail.
• Fills in a code automatically only when the sender's domain matches the page you are on and the mail arrived within the last two minutes. Everything else stays in the popup for you to decide.
• Mail flagged as junk is ignored.

THE POPUP

• Shows every code and sign-in link from the last 15 minutes, with the sender and how long ago it arrived.
• Fill in: types the code into the current page, also when the sender does not match the page.
• Copy: puts the code on the clipboard.
• Open: opens a sign-in or confirmation link in a new tab. A link is never opened on its own.
• Trash: moves the mail to your Trash folder once you are done with it.

SIGN-IN AND PRIVACY

• The extension never sees your password. Connecting opens the Skybox web app, where you sign in as usual, including SSO, LDAP or two-factor. The web app then hands the extension a one-time token.
• The extension talks only to your Skybox server. No data goes to any third party.
• Works with skyboxmail.de and with self-hosted Skybox instances: enter your own server address in the popup.

REQUIREMENTS

A Skybox mail account. Code recognition must be enabled in your Skybox settings.
