QuickCard gives you fast access to information about movies, TV shows, episodes, actors, directors, and other people by searching IMDb while you browse. Search by entering a title or name in the browser toolbar, by hovering over an IMDb link, selecting text on a webpage, using the right-click menu. The available information is collected from IMDb, OMDb, TVmaze, and Wikidata and displayed together in a single card.

QuickCard is designed to be customizable. You can decide which details and links appear, turn individual features on or off, create your own link buttons, choose where the extension is allowed to run, and use either a compact Mini card or a more detailed Full card. The toolbar search uses the Full layout to make better use of the available space.

Multilingual search is built in. When selected text is not in English, QuickCard can translate it before searching. It currently supports Arabic, Russian, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Persian. Both the original and translated text are shown, and low-confidence translations are marked. If a title or name has several possible matches, you can choose the correct result from a short list.

Depending on the available data and your settings, QuickCard can show:

• Awards summary
• Plot description
• TV series status, network, and weekly schedule
• Next and previous episode information
• Season and episode numbers
• Episode titles and air dates

PEOPLE

Person cards can include:

• Age and date of birth
• Place of birth
• Occupations
• Notable work
• Oscar, Golden Globe, and Emmy summaries
• Links to IMDb, Wikipedia, social profiles, official websites, and other supported pages

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

QuickCard can provide direct links to supported streaming services, review sites, movie databases, anime databases, social profiles, and official websites. Available destinations may include Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, TMDb, Letterboxd, Trakt, TVmaze, Netflix, Disney+, Max, Prime Video, Apple TV, Peacock, Hulu, Plex, MyAnimeList, AniList, Crunchyroll, and YouTube search.

You can disable any link category or add your own buttons with custom URL templates.

DATA AND PRIVACY

QuickCard does not collect personal information. Extension settings, custom link templates, site rules, your OMDb API key, and the last toolbar query are stored locally in the browser.

Search queries are sent to the data providers needed to return a result. When translation is required, selected text may be sent to the translation service. Google Suggestions is optional and can be disabled.

Some extended movie and TV information requires your own OMDb API key which is free and easy to obtain. Data availability and accuracy depend on the third-party services and their records.
