The best sites on the internet come bolted to the worst comment sections. You come for the video, and twenty minutes later you've forgotten what you came for and you're arguing with an AI in the replies.
No Comment hides comments automatically, the instant a page loads, across YouTube, Reddit, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Medium and Twitch. It also removes YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels from your feeds and hides Twitch chat so the video fills the space. You keep the videos and the posts, minus the discourse.
When you do want the comments, click the toolbar icon and hit Peek at Comments — they appear for two minutes, then close themselves. You don't have to remember to leave.

What you get
• Comments, hidden by default. Every supported site loads quiet, with a per-site toggle so you decide where it runs. Peek when you want them; the two-minute timer tidies up after you.
• No Shorts, no Reels. They vanish from the feed entirely — no placeholder, no gap, no "hidden" label. Just YouTube without Shorts and Instagram without Reels.
• Twitch without the chat. The chat panel goes and the video fills the space.
• See your quiet. A weekly summary shows how much of your week stayed comment-free, and the toolbar popup keeps a running tally of what it's spared you.
• Lock it in (optional). Set a PIN and No Comment asks for it before any protection can be relaxed — for keeping future-you honest.
• Block more, if you want (optional). Turn on NSFW blocking, or block whole sites and categories like social media and job sites, for focus. Off until you switch it on.
• Light, dark, or system theme.
Privacy
No accounts. No analytics. No data collection. Your stats are counted and stored on your own machine and go nowhere else. No Comment asks for one broad permission, and only one: turning on network-level blocking needs access to all sites, because the block rules can apply anywhere. It's optional — Firefox asks you at the moment you switch that feature on, and comments-only users never see it. Even then, the blocking is handed to Firefox to enforce; No Comment never watches your traffic.
