Native Tab Switcher lets a local program control Firefox tabs through Native Messaging. When the local host application sends the command {"command": "next_tab"}, the extension switches to the next open tab in the current window. After the last tab it wraps around to the first one.
Requirements: a separate native messaging host (a small Python script, "com.local.native_tab_switcher") must be installed on the computer. Without it the extension does nothing.
The extension does not collect, store or transmit any user data. It only reads the list of tabs in the current window to find the next one.
Desktop only (Native Messaging is not available on Firefox for Android).
