Memory Layer is a companion browser extension for the Memory Layer desktop application.

By itself, this extension does not store or save data. When the Memory Layer desktop app is installed and running, the extension allows you to attempt to send the current webpage’s content to your local Memory Layer database using Chrome Native Messaging.

The browser action attempts to connect to the desktop app when clicked and will display a status message if the app is not available.
