LocalSend transfers files and text between nearby screens using animated, fountain-coded QR frames. The transfer travels through the sending screen and the receiving device's camera, so no shared Wi-Fi network, account, pairing process, cloud upload, or native companion application is required.

To send from your computer, choose a file or text in the extension. On the other device, open decimen.app, select Receive, and point its camera at the animated code.

To send from your phone, open decimen.app, select Send, and choose the content. In the extension, select Receive and scan the phone's screen with your computer camera.
