Haven Converter turns your browser into a private video studio: convert, compress, trim, add music or a watermark, and cut on a multi-track timeline — all on your own device. Nothing is ever uploaded.

This extension adds two shortcuts:
• Right-click any video on a web page and choose “Convert with Haven Converter”. The file lands in the quick converter on havenconverter.com, ready to compress, convert to MP4/WebM or extract audio.
• Toolbar button: open the quick converter or the full studio in one click.

Privacy: the extension never talks to any server. It only loads havenconverter.com, where all processing runs in your browser (WebCodecs, WebGPU, ffmpeg.wasm). Access to a site is requested only when you use the context menu there.

Limits: streaming players (YouTube, Netflix, DRM) don’t expose a downloadable file; the extension works with real video files on a page and never bypasses protection.
