"Search text selection in new tab" have a option "focus new tab - on/off". And this command only work with focus new tab is OFF. So, only works in background tab. Firefox disable foreground search activities for this addon.
Because of that, we need same "focus new tab - on/off" option for the "[Popup] Search engines" command. Obviously from the same reason.
