Fetchrail connects Firefox with the free Fetchrail download manager for Windows and Linux.

• Send downloads to the desktop app and manage transfers from the Firefox toolbar.
• Find downloadable links and media on the current page, choose files, and use the Download with Fetchrail context menu.
• Follow multi-step download pages with optional assistance, keeping logins and CAPTCHAs under your control.
• Choose queues, connection counts, speed limits, and scheduled or paused starts.

This extension requires the separate Fetchrail desktop application from https://github.com/Beelzebub2/fetchrail.

The companion sends the selected download URL and relevant request details to the locally installed Fetchrail app through Firefox native messaging. Session-header forwarding is off by default and can be enabled in the companion for downloads that need browser authentication.
