Keep your screen awake exactly when you need it, without draining your battery when you don't.

Whether you are following a recipe on your phone, reading a long article, or keeping a dashboard open on your second monitor, this extension ensures your display won't time out and go black.

Features:
* Keep this tab awake: A temporary lock that lasts only until you close or refresh the tab.
* Always keep this page awake: Automatically keeps the screen on for a specific URL.
* Always keep this website awake: Automatically keeps the screen on for an entire domain.

Privacy First & Mobile Ready

Built from the ground up to support Firefox for Android and Desktop. We use a "Privacy First" permission model. By default, the extension has zero access to the websites you visit. It will only ask for permission to read a website when you explicitly choose to create an "Always Awake" rule for that specific site.

(Power users can opt-in to global permissions in the extension settings to skip future prompts).

Note: For security reasons, the browser only allows the screen to stay awake on active tabs using secure connections (URLs starting with https://).

This project is open source and free to use. Code can be reviewed at any time.

The permission strategy follows the "principle of least privilege". Actions that "always" apply to a URL require the user to opt-in to domain access. There is an option for users to grant access to all websites if they find the individual permission approval tedious.
