Blox Motion gives the Roblox website an animated backdrop with a simple toolbar popup and a full background studio.

Choose from 15 original full-HD ambient scenes. Twelve new scenes include native 1920 × 1080 animated GIFs and matching 24 fps silent video loops. Explore moonlit cherry blossoms, ocean waves, a solar eclipse, iridescent geometry, midnight rain, lunar dunes, a synthwave grid, shooting stars, violet ribbons, warm ember waves, a layered sunset and an underwater scene. Three classic video scenes include Neon District, Orbit and Northern Lights. Everything is bundled with the extension.

The redesigned studio includes a large live preview, category filters, instant search and saved favorites. Choose GIF or video playback for each new scene; videos give smoother motion and richer color.

Prefer your own scene? Upload a GIF, MP4 or WebM from your computer. Blox Motion checks its decoded resolution, requires at least 1920 × 1080, and retains the original file locally. Files up to 80 MB each are supported. No media is uploaded to a server.

Adjust background dimming, blur, video speed and fit. Enable glass panels, choose a studio accent, pause animation, or automatically pause backgrounds when their tabs are hidden. The extension can respect your system's reduced-motion setting.

No accounts, advertisements, tracking, subscription or external media download. Settings and custom media stay in your current Firefox profile.

Blox Motion customizes the Roblox website at www.roblox.com. It does not customize the Firefox new-tab page or Roblox's game client. Roblox's dark appearance is recommended. Styling support can vary with Roblox's evolving layout or other theme extensions.
