BeatTiles is a compact rhythm pad and loop toy for Firefox.

It provides 16 playable pads with four locally generated sound kits: Lo-Fi, Arcade, House, and Soft. Pads can be played with the mouse or keyboard. The built-in eight-step loop lets you record pad hits, change tempo, adjust master volume, play or pause the loop, and clear it when you want to start again.

All sounds are synthesized with the browser's audio engine. BeatTiles does not download samples or send data to an external server.
