This add-on literally just converts Markdown-style text into what it should be on any page. That's just about it.
Super simple, but if you are visiting any websites that don't do this themselves, but have user generated text that often has this style of formatting (e.g. Youtube), it can make some texts more readable and add a little extra flair and coolness to pages.
