Assistant for Basecamp adds a Kanban board over your real to-do lists and card tables, custom fields on every item, automations, and one-click AI-powered transcription for voice notes.

KEY FEATURES:

Kanban Board View
• Account-level, project-level, and tool-level Kanban boards. To-dos and Cards always get separate boards
• Pivot view: pick one field for the columns and another for the rows, for example Status across and To-do lists down
• Group by assignee, status, priority, tags, or any custom field, including multi-select fields. A to-do carrying three tags appears in all three columns
• Saved views: search projects and clients, scope the board to any set of them, and save the setup as a named view that follows you to any computer

Your Basecamp content stays between your browser and Basecamp's servers. Our API stores what Assistant adds: custom fields and their values, saved views, WIP limits, and automation rules. Voice notes are transcribed on our servers when you ask for it. The audio is read only for the seconds the transcription takes and is never stored; the transcript, summary, and action items are.
