- Valutata 1 su 5di Jay, 6 anni faHanged my browser three tabs in a row.
Then I found out it cleared out my whole brwosing history before I even add a single word to the list.
Would not recommend. - Valutata 5 su 5di KAMiKAZOW, 6 anni fa
- Valutata 4 su 5di maverick, 6 anni faVery promissing but until it gets a WhiteList mode and get on a diet i'll be using History Zebra. ;)

- Valutata 3 su 5di Steve Turner, 7 anni faIt works as claimed, but I had to disable it because it caused significant performance problems with regular browsing activity. Simple scrolling operations on commonly-used web pages (e.g., Facebook) became annoyingly sluggish.
Edit per developer reply: Yes, turning off "Show Number of Visits In Browser Icon" helps quite a bit. I also turned off "Log Total Number Of History Deleted", which seems to help a bit too, but perhaps not as much. I still detect some minor loss of scrolling performance, but overall it's much better. Thanks.
Edit 2: Something else I've noticed: Removing the history for a link causes the browser's read/unread highlighting for that link to show as "unread". I'm curious if that's even something that can be addressed...Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 7 anni faGo to settings and turn off "Show Number of Visits In Browser Icon" and see if that helps. If that helps, then perhaps I need to disable that setting by default on install.
Edit 1: "Removing the history for a link causes the browser's read/unread highlighting for that link to show as "unread"". I think that the browser uses the history to determine whether a link is unread or not, so if you delete the history, the link will show as unread.
Also this extension works best with e10s enabled which would probably solve your scrolling issue. - Valutata 5 su 5di U64, 7 anni faAnd in any and every other browser. It's great. Helps limit the size of your history (I don't need search result pages there) and even wiping it clean every few days, should you chose to do that.
Good for privacy, good for sanity.
What would be the chances for a Fennec version?Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 7 anni faYep I made this extension to give better control of my history rather than the all or nothing approach. As for your question, please see:

I have been using this add-on for a few weeks now and it works as promised. It's interesting to check the logs and see how it is deleting history entries and keeping the size of places.sqlite from growing.
My places.sqlite used to keep growing and I would occasionally have to delete large chunks of history to keep it in check. Now this add-on does that function for me.
An absolutely essential add-on.
