   All extension settings (such as turning the scroll pad on/off or reversing the scroll direction) are saved strictly on your local device using Firefox’s local storage features. None of this configuration data is ever uploaded to external servers, cloud storage, or third parties.
3. Content Script Permissions
   The extension requests permission to run on all websites (<all_urls>). This permission is required solely to inject the floating trackpad interface on your screen and to detect page layout containers so that the scrolling feature can function properly. The extension does not read, modify, or log your page content, passwords, or form inputs.
4. Changes to This Policy
   If the extension is updated in the future to introduce new features that require data tracking, this privacy policy will be updated immediately, and you will be notified via the store update notes. However, our core philosophy is to keep this tool fully private and local.
