Pulseous collects no personal data. It has no website access, no servers, no analytics, no accounts and no tracking. Everything it reads stays on your computer.

What Pulseous accesses: one thing, the public status feed for Claude's services at https://status.claude.com/api/v2/summary.json. This is the same information shown on status.claude.com, published by Anthropic for anyone to read. Pulseous requests it every five minutes while your browser is running, and when you open the popup. The request carries no login, cookies or identifiers. Pulseous asks your browser for access to no websites: it cannot read, change or observe any page you visit, on any site.

What Pulseous stores: the most recent status result, in your browser's local extension storage on your computer — the state of each service, any open incidents and maintenance windows, and the time of the last check. If a check fails, it also keeps the error message. Nothing is stored anywhere else. Removing the extension deletes it.

Where your data goes: nowhere. Pulseous sends no information to the developer or to any third party. Its only network request is the read of the public status feed described above. It contains no analytics, crash reporting or advertising code.

The coffee link: the popup has a "buy me a coffee" link. It is an ordinary link: Pulseous sends nothing to Buy Me a Coffee and nothing happens unless you click it. If you do, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Third-party services: status.claude.com is operated by Anthropic, PBC, using Atlassian Statuspage. Pulseous is not affiliated with Anthropic or Atlassian.
