It's working even on Linux!

The access to browser tabs and your data for all websites seems excessive. However, it does work a little faster than Spotify Desktop-ify or Spotify URL Parser.

This extension and the other mentioned extensions only started working after I reinstalled Spotify through the Windows Store.

No reason for this, if it only needs to look at open.spotify.com. Use the other addon that doesn't do this.

Doesn't work, just focuses the spotify app without going to the song/link in the app. Unusable in current state, but great idea for an app.

it would be nice if the tab of the Spotify web player that was blocked by the addon was also closed by it.
When I click on a link, I get the Spotify desktop client to open on the correct page. But the Firefox tab is still there. And if you open several links, you quickly find yourself with lots of empty tabs

It just works. It doesn't bring spotify to the foreground, though.
