nuDefend Browser Guard szerző: nuVPN

nuDefend Browser Guard warns you and stops visits to known phishing and malware-distributing sites. If you try to open one, you’ll see a clear warning instead, with an option to return to safety.

What you get

• Warnings about more than 400,000 known phishing and malware sites. The list is updated several times a day.
• A clear warning page with a “Blocked by mistake?” button and an option to continue to the site if you’re sure.
• You can reduce IP address exposure through WebRTC, a browser feature used for communication: websites won’t see your computer’s local IP addresses. This option is off by default. You can turn it on in settings.
• Free, with no ads and no account required.

Privacy

Checks run inside your browser. We don’t receive the addresses of sites you visit or your browsing history. Only when a site resembles an entry on the list is a shortened identifier sent to the server for an additional check—not the site’s address. No ads, no tracking and no selling your data.

Protection beyond your browser

nuDefend Browser Guard protects you in your browser. nuVPN, our VPN service, also stops visits to known phishing and malware-distributing sites in other apps on your device while it’s connected.
