Nook for Mac szerző: MattCorn

Nook connects Firefox to the Nook Mac app so your focus sessions work in the browser you already use.

Block websites you choose, or hide YouTube and Reddit feeds while keeping search, direct posts and videos available. Rules run on your device and follow the session you start in Nook. Each Firefox profile needs its own installation and website permissions. Private browsing is optional and must be enabled separately.

Requires Nook for Mac on macOS 13 or later, and Firefox 142 or later. Download the companion at https://nookfocus.com/mac.html. This add-on is for macOS desktop only.

The extension exchanges a generated profile identifier, allowed-site patterns, browser access settings and rule acknowledgements with the Nook app on the same Mac. When you choose to link focus sessions on nookfocus.com, the selected task label, session identifier, duration and preset are also passed to that local app. There is no browsing-history log, advertising tracker or remote analytics. The data disclosures shown by Firefox include this local communication.
