Would be 5 stars but it doesn't link with the desktop app in Windows like the old extension. If you use 1Password just for the web, this is the way to go.Fejlesztői válasz
közzétéve: 5 éveThanks for the honest review! Integration between 1Password X and the 1Password desktop apps is something we’d love to offer. We’re currently testing it out in the 1Password X and 1Password for Mac betas, and I’d expect us to move over to Windows once that’s perfected. :) - Csillagos értékelés: 4 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 15313305, 5 éve

If you do, you will have to disable autofill features because this extension breaks the standard functionality in a bad way: when entering a username, you'll get the standard drop-down for selecting a user, but pressing down will instead pop up 1Password with a number of choices, none of which are usually what I want.
I really wish the Down arrow was left alone while still enabling the deeper form of integration.
Also when entering a password not yet saved in 1Password, you have to save it before you're sure that it was accurate. There should be a way to save a password after I've logged in, just like the built-in password manager does.Fejlesztői válasz
közzétéve: 5 éveHello! There are a few customization options in 1Password X that I think you’d find helpful. If you’re not a fan of the inline menu, for example, you have the ability to disable it on the 1Password X settings page.
I totally see how offering to save a Login after your credentials are accepted would be convenient. We always put security first here at 1Password and when we save a new Login item, we save everything on the page and run a check to make sure everything we saved matches when we go back to fill your Logins. This helps to make sure your data only goes exactly where it’s supposed to. So after some trial and assessment we determined offering to save after populating the last field in a form is the most secure way to ensure the proper data is saved (for now).
We really appreciate you sharing your feedback because it helps us continue to improve 1Password X. Thank you! - Csillagos értékelés: 4 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 15240710, 5 éve

- The ability to prompt save new login AFTER we login
- The ability to be unlocked ALL the time. It's such a hassle to re-login every single time I open my browser, especially when my password is long.
The other password managers have these 2 very basic features so please I hope 1Password X implement these as soon as possible to make me move fully to 1Password.
Thanks!Fejlesztői válasz
közzétéve: 5 éveThank you so much for your feedback, @miss_p1nky!
These are some really great points you’ve made.
We always put security first here at 1Password and when we save a new Login item, we save everything on the page and run a check to make sure everything we saved matches when we go back to _fill_ your Logins. This helps to make sure your data only goes exactly where it’s supposed to. After some trial and discussion, it was decided that prompting you to save a Login item upon filling the final field in a login or sign up form is currently the most reliable way to ensure items are properly saved with the correct URL and page background details.
However, this isn’t our final answer. It’s the best, most secure, and least obstructive way we have found so far but do have plans to work on it some more.
In regards to the 1Password X locking behavior — We do have a solution! We recently released a feature to our beta builds that allows 1Password X to communicate with the Desktop app and thereby leverage it for it’s locking and unlocking capabilities. This feature is currently available in Chrome and Firefox on macOS. If you’re using 1Password on a Windows device, please sit tight; We’re working on bringing you the same feature. I just wish that I wasn't forced to scan a QR code, as not all websites offer that, LinkedIN for example gives me a code to "paste into the app". It is also a shame to see so many 1 star reviews recently, I've not had any of the issues they have had, lets hope it stays that way!

közzétéve: 5 éveI’m glad you mentioned this! It sounds like you’re referring to the original 1Password extension. That extension is directly connected to and dependent upon the desktop app and that’s why unlocking the app with Touch ID also unlocks the extension in Firefox. 1Password X is an independent app that lives in your browser. Because of this we’re able to bring you new features like improved saving and filling logic and an inline menu providing your Logins to you within the fields you’re filling. As for Touch ID support - We have released a feature capable of this in the 1Password X beta build for Chrome on macOS and are working hard to bring it to Firefox as well.
