Toonlight collects no data. Nothing you do is recorded, and nothing is sent to the developer or to anyone else.

What is stored: the theme's own settings, on your device only (in the browser's extension storage and in webtoons.com's local storage): whether dark mode, the reader dim and the edge shading are on, whether the reader's scroll-to-top button is hidden, and whether the last webtoons.com page showed you as logged in (a yes/no flag used only to avoid a "LOG IN" button flashing; no name, account or login details are read or stored). Removing the add-on deletes its storage; clearing webtoons.com's site data deletes the rest.

What is not collected: no personal information, account details, passwords or payment information; no browsing or reading history; no analytics, tracking, advertising or telemetry.

Network: the add-on makes no network requests of its own and loads no remote code. It runs only on www.webtoons.com and m.webtoons.com. In the reader it requests the small ranking covers in a sharper size from WEBTOON's own image server.
