Notes taking extention with tabs using local storage
Simple lightweight Chrome extension for taking quick notes.

Click on the extension icon to open up TabbyNotes.

Click the gear icon at the top left to open the setting's dropdown menu. Here you can click the "Add tab" button to create a new tab or "Show more" for more options including downloading your notes as a .txt file, customize the extension's dimensions within certain limits, or resetting to the initial state.

If clicking the gear icon to create new tabs is too much of a hassle you can also double click on an empty tab location to quickly create a new one instead.

You can rename your tabs by double clicking on the tab of interest. A prompt will pop up allowing you to rename it at your leisure.

If your tabs are outdated or you simple don't need them any more you can click on the "x" while the tab is active to easily remove it. If that's too slow you can also middle mouse click any tab to immediately remove it.

Too many tabs but you don't want to remove them? you can simple scroll with a mouse or track-pad to find the tab you want.

Don't worry about losing progress. Your notes will auto save on every action.

This extension utilizes local storage. The notes you take will only be available to you on the machine that you took them on. The size of your notes is limited by the amount of space available to you on local storage. Google Chrome allows about 10 Mb but that number is not an absolute.
