This add-on focuses on clarity and minimalism. It injects a small stylesheet into the current tab only after you click the popup’s toggle. The default color is a warm yellow that you can change at any time. The add-on stores just one setting (the color) in Firefox Sync so your choice follows you across devices where you’re signed in.

Under the hood it uses Manifest v2 with a tiny background script that sets a default color on install, a popup as the main interface, and a content script that draws the highlight.
