NetTrace-Recorder is a session capture tool for Firefox that records everything happening in your browser during a session - network traffic, user interactions, storage, and page state - then exports it all as a self-contained HTML report or raw JSON.

Network capture
Every HTTP request and response is recorded: method, status code, headers, request body (POST data, form fields), response body (up to 5 MB, text previewed inline), content type, size, and timestamp. Requests are displayed in an interactive table with per-row detail panels for headers and bodies, plus filters for URL, method, status, asset type, and errors.

Interaction recording
Clicks, double-clicks, keystrokes, scrolls, form inputs, text selections, drag-and-drop, clipboard events, touch and pointer events, focus/blur, and SPA navigations are all captured with timestamps and CSS selectors. The Interactions panel lets you filter by event type or search across the full log.

Cookies & storage
All browser cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage keys are snapshotted at export time. Console logs (log, warn, error, info, debug) and unhandled JavaScript errors are captured live during the session.

DOM snapshot
A full outer-HTML snapshot of the page is captured at export, alongside the page title and user-agent string.

Export
Sessions export as an interactive, fully offline HTML report - no server, no dependencies - with tabbed navigation across Network, Interactions, Cookies & Storage, DOM Snapshot, and Raw JSON panels. A raw JSON export is also available for programmatic processing.

No data ever leaves your browser. Everything is stored in memory and written only to files you choose to save.
