Form 0: You Have Already Answered is an offline metaphysical-horror deduction game about deciding whether a person has remained the same person.
You have been assigned to Window 6 of the Office of Continuity. Every applicant supplies three original documents. Inspect the papers, compare chronology and physical evidence, pin the observations that support a conclusion, and stamp one of three determinations: admit continuity, hold identity, or cannot determine.
The cases are not ordinary lies. A death certificate can predate a birth while sharing fresh ink with a later signature. Two unrelated bodies can possess one alternating heartbeat and a single civil record. An unnamed applicant can have a perfectly continuous history. A service window can request recognition as the same person despite every physical component having been replaced.
Twelve handcrafted cases form four connected shifts. The active rulebook changes after every three files. Earlier decisions affect how later documents are understood, culminating in applications from the current officer and Form 0 itself. Every contradiction, document, consequence, and correct evidentiary path is authored rather than generated.
The continuity board holds at most four observations. A procedurally strong decision must both select the correct determination and include all required evidence. The ending therefore evaluates reasoning as well as verdicts. Incorrect campaigns still reach a complete, coherent ending instead of soft-locking.
The interface is a physical paperwork desk built with local HTML, CSS, and typography. Individual files open beneath an inspection lamp; inspected documents receive a visible mark. Queue state, rule changes, pinned evidence, determinations, and consequences remain synchronized through one pure rule engine.
Progress is stored locally in the extension origin. The final case log can be exported as JSON and contains only in-game choices and authored case identifiers.
Included capabilities:
• twelve interconnected identity-continuity cases;
• thirty-six individually written documents;
• four rulebook revisions across a complete campaign;
• three determinations for every applicant;
• evidence pinning with bounded capacity;
• decisions evaluated for verdict and evidentiary support;
• persistent shift state and local case-log export;
• adverse campaigns, a perfect playthrough, and three endings;
• an institutional paper interface distinct from conventional game dashboards.
Form 0 uses no personal information. Applicants, records, employee numbers, and events are fictional packaged content.
