Flyls adds an invisible tracking pixel to the messages you send from Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and Zoho Mail. When someone opens your message you see it — the time, the device, and the country it was opened from.

No copying and pasting, and no second app to keep open. A small control appears in your compose window and you carry on writing.

Supported mail

Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail and Zoho Mail work through the extension itself: open a compose window and the controls are there. Everything else — Apple Mail, Thunderbird, ProtonMail, your phone's mail app — works through manual mode.

What this extension can see

It runs only on the mail sites listed in its permissions, and on flyls.com. It has no access to any other page you visit.

On those mail sites it reads the recipients and the subject of a message you are composing, so your dashboard can tell one tracked email from another, and it inserts the tracking image. It does not read, transmit or store the body of your emails.

What it does not do

We would rather you knew the limits before installing than after.

Open tracking depends on the recipient's mail client loading images. Many block them by default, and those opens are not recorded until the reader chooses to load them. Most providers also fetch images through their own proxy servers, so the location recorded is often the proxy's rather than the reader's, and a provider that pre-fetches images can register an open nobody performed.

Flyls reports what it can observe and does not guess. It is a useful signal. It is not proof that someone read your message, and you should not treat it as one.

Free — Gmail and Outlook, one recipient per email, messages carry a small Flyls badge. Personal Pro $3.99/month — adds Yahoo, up to 20 recipients, no badge. Business Pro $9.99/month — adds Zoho, unlimited recipients, link click tracking, manual mode, API access. Cancel any time.

A note on tracking other people

Email tracking is regulated differently in different countries and some require the recipient's consent. You are responsible for knowing the rules that apply where you and your recipients are, and for following them.
