New version unusable Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I had to revert back to version 2.8.2 and turn off auto updates, v3 I found totally unusable, please revert back to the earlier interface, I promise I'll donate!

This was a great plugin, now only problems.... Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Much slower then the previous version, color picking from local images do not work anymore..
It says "Click to Allow access to file URLs" but nothing happens on click... The black bar that appears after u get the color picker is not fixed - it offests the web page for the height of the bar.... It used to be one click picker, now there's a n extra click... All in all, i think I'm rolling back to previous version - the new one doesnt live up to it's name....

Doesn't work anymore Rated 1 out of 5 stars

BIG MISTAKE!!!! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I have been using this tool for years and I even recommended with my users and clients. Now I will start the process of doing the contrary. The new update and interface change made this tool bad, really BAD...

What happend after the last update??? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

As a webdeveloper I'm using this tool for years, but now it has changed so much, I can't use it anymore! The greatest mistake developers can make is to CHANGE it so much that the user needs to study it again. And we don't!
Pls bring back the standard functionality, and REMOVE the pop up bar in the top! Whether or not I disable it, it keeps showing!

Click and enable "Allow access to file URLs" Rated 2 out of 5 stars

does not work.

Latest update removes essential functionality Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Please add back the function to show offset coordinates compared to previous pick. This was really useful for a webdeveloper who just quickly roughly needs to measure something.

Horrible since the new update :-( Rated 1 out of 5 stars

They have changed everything!
It has become very complicated !!!!
Too bad
I will therefore uninstall

Colour Picker No Longer Works - Useless! :-( Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This was the best add-on for Firefox out there, now it's useless and doesn't work... :-(

Removed most used functionality Rated 2 out of 5 stars

As another reviewer pointed out this add is now far less useful as there is now only one color format permitted (in settings). I used to use CZ with multiple applications which used a different color format each.

No longer working for me Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I relied heavily on the zoom-in/zoom-out feature which I easily located by right-clicking. It's no longer there nor all the options that came with it. I'm going to have to remove colorzilla (again, have already removed, reinstalled, restarted browser, hoping it would restore the program). I'll have to go shopping for alternative programs but I'll check in time to time and see if this once awesome program has been restored to its former glory.

Latest Update Ruined This Addon Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The new functionality of this has ruined this addon. I used to be able to grab the color and then choose which format I needed on the fly with a drop list. Now I have to set the format (hex, rgb, etc..) in the settings. So if I need hex one moment I have to go into options and change the the format. Then if I need rgb I have to go back into options and change it again.

Also whenever I use the color picker it now puts a huge empty white space above the website I'm working on.

I used to use this all the time when developing websites but now it's useless.

Not working on local files Rated 2 out of 5 stars

After update, eyedropper does not working on local files (develop html). ColorZilla says: "Click and enable allow access to file URLs". I'm clicking, but nothing happens. Please help!

Stopped working Rated 1 out of 5 stars

As others have said, the whole page is evaluated as white now. And since the eye dropper from the Developer Tools was removed there is no alternative either.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.8.2).

Was working fine untill stopped Rated 1 out of 5 stars

As of yesterday, in Ubuntu 16.10 x64 with Firefox 51.0.1, this version does not work. The entire page is evaluated as white (255,255,255).
Last week was working fine.
I'll rate again if starts working.
