Bookmark Studio is a bookmark manager that runs entirely in your browser.

Data we collect
None. Bookmark Studio has no account system, no analytics, no tracking and no servers of its own. We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data.

How your bookmarks are used
The extension uses the "bookmarks" permission to read and edit your browser's bookmarks so you can view, search, organize, create, edit and delete them. Your bookmarks stay in your browser and are never sent to us.

Local storage
The extension stores interface preferences (such as light or dark mode) locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device.

Third-party service: site icons
To display website icons, the extension requests favicons from Google's public favicon service (https://www.google.com/s2/favicons). Each request includes only the website's domain (for example, "example.com"), never the full URL, page title or any other bookmark data. Google's handling of these requests is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
