Bookmark titles, URLs, folder identifiers, event types, and a local extension profile identifier are sent to the user's locally installed Native Messaging host. This is required for the extension's primary bookmark-to-Obsidian function.

The extension does not send bookmark data to a developer-operated remote service. The local agent may fetch the bookmarked webpage or YouTube metadata/captions according to the user's configuration and sends summary input to the user's selected local Ollama model or configured AI provider.
