AdSloth Browser Extension Privacy Policy

AdSloth is a companion browser extension for the AdSloth web app at https://www.adsloth.com.

What the extension does

The extension helps the AdSloth web app fetch publicly available Meta Ad Library data directly from the user's browser. It runs only on adsloth.com and facebook.com.

Data the extension accesses

The extension may access:
- The current adsloth.com page, so it can communicate with the AdSloth web app.
- facebook.com, so it can request publicly available Meta Ad Library data.
- The facebook.com c_user cookie, only to align requests with the local Facebook browser session when the user is already signed into Facebook.

Data we do not collect

The extension does not collect, sell, rent, or share:
- Browsing history
- Search history outside AdSloth
- Content from other tabs
- Passwords
- Private Facebook messages
- Facebook profile data
- Facebook cookies
- Authentication tokens
- Payment information
- Personally sensitive information

How data is used

The extension uses the browser's local facebook.com session only to request public Meta Ad Library data from facebook.com. Requests are made directly from the user's browser to facebook.com.

The extension does not send Facebook cookies, Facebook account data, or private browsing data to AdSloth servers.

Data storage

The extension may store temporary technical session data locally in the browser's extension storage. This is used only to keep Meta Ad Library requests working between browser background-worker restarts.

This locally stored data is not sold, shared, or used for advertising.

Third parties

The extension communicates with:
- https://www.adsloth.com, the AdSloth web app
- https://www.facebook.com, to fetch publicly available Meta Ad Library data

No third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or data brokers are used by the extension.

User control

Users can disable or uninstall the extension at any time from their browser's extension settings. Uninstalling the extension removes its locally stored extension data according to the browser's normal extension storage behavior.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy as the extension evolves. Any material changes will be reflected in the extension listing or on the AdSloth website.
