It worked just for a while

This worked for me on some sites, but I noticed it was using a lot of CPU even when I wasn't downloading things (thank you, Firefox Task Manager).

Turns out it the "privacy" policy is wide open. Most companies won't sell your personally identifiable information, but exten.inc does: "We may share some or all of your personal information with our subsidiaries, joint ventures or other companies."

And it has full access to everything you do.

You should try Video Download Helper. It will download almost anything, and collects no information.

Can't see the logo on my imac /Firefox screen toolbar

It does not work on the only website that I am interested into: archive.org.
Anyway I would never install it in my main browser, because it can see all my passwords and other things that I write.

It looks good and the downloading interface is nice. But whenever i try to download a video from youtube it can't find the feed and the video playing so i must use the other plugin i have.

Doesn't break anything, but it certainly can't find videos anymore.

Not working on YouTube

This addon was a good replacement for FVD once that one stopped working but today it stopped downloading YouTube videos. It detects them but it downloads them as 0 bytes so it doesn't seem to work with YouTube anymore.

Doesn't download 1080P (only <= 720P) from YouTube

VK: "No videos found". Firefox 67.0b7 x64, Windows 10.

New version sucks. It doesn't work with audio anymore.
Don't fix it if it ain't broken!

In one site it broke the video down into seperate donwloadable portions of various sizes instead of one complete download! Grr!

Works well on YouTube, though.

Cannot handle fragmented streams.
