About this extension

Ask AI personal questions in a better place.

More and more, we ask AI about our lives: a worry about our health, a breakup, money trouble. Those chats are usually saved in your account, and many AI apps use them for training by default. Kamelo notices when a question gets personal and helps you ask it somewhere better.

WHEN IT GETS PERSONAL
• Type something about your health, mental health, sexuality, faith, money or legal trouble in an AI chat such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude, and Kamelo shows a short notice.
• One click moves your message to the site's temporary chat, which stays out of your history and isn't used for training.
• General questions, such as "what are the symptoms of flu?", don't trigger it.

ON YOUR DEVICE
• Kamelo recognises personal topics with word lists in 82 languages, on your device.
• Kamelo has no servers and sends nothing anywhere. No account, no tracking, no ads.
• It only runs on AI chat sites.

GOOD TO KNOW
Kamelo doesn't change what you send, and your AI account still knows who you are. A temporary chat keeps a question out of your history and out of training.
Melo, Kamelo's private chat where an AI answers on your own computer, is only available in Chrome for now: Firefox's built-in AI is still too slow on most computers.

Updating from an earlier version? Kamelo no longer replaces details with placeholders, and it deletes the data it kept for that from your device.
