Perfect Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Just as expected and been using it on both Thunderbird and firefox for years (during its relevant reincarnations for version compatibility)
Parfait !! (Thunderbird 45) Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Just what i was searching for Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thanks a lot for this great little Add-On. TB now is one step further to be the perfect Mail-Application for me! Btw: Is it possible to build an extension to integrate TB into Action-Center in Win10? Or is an add-on already existing out there?
F9 keyboard shortcut broken in TB 45 Rated 3 out of 5 stars
As per the title, everything works in TB 45 except the keyboard shortcut. In fact, clicking "File menu > Minimize to tray" doeesn't work either. It amazes me that Thunderbird doesn't have this functionality built-in yet. If I remember rightly earlier versions used to have it, yes/no? Every other email client has it. It's 2016. It's time.
not working in Thunderbird 46 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
surprisingly F9 minimize to tray works, however Close/Minimize have no effect.
OK for me in Thunderbird 45 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
After installing and setting, it works fine both for iconifying and closing.
Working for me in Thunderbird 45 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I'm on a Windows machine. On versions 38 and below, the utility RBTray (available on SourceForge) worked to minimize Thunderbird to the tray. With the upgrade to version 45 it stopped.
MinimizeToTray works with Thunderbird 45. After you install the Add-on, go to its options. In Minimize to tray, I have 'When minimizing' selected. When I minimize Thunderbird, it properly goes down to the system tray.
Does it work on Thunderbid 45.0 ? Rated 1 out of 5 stars
When I click the icon,
nothing happens (Thunderbird isn't minimized to tray). Does anyone else experiment this behaviour? May be this addon doesn't work anymore on Thunderbird 45.0 ?
Excelente y sencillo en Win8 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Funciona de maravilla y así desocupo espacio en mi barra de tareas y mando a trabajar en segundo plano a Thunderbird a Área de notificación.
Отлично Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Мне нравится, хорошая вешь.
not working Rated 2 out of 5 stars
used to be working before, but with the recent updates of thunderbird (now v.45) ..it is not working..the command appears under "File" menu, nothing happens when choosing it,..ubuntu 14.04
Works fine and cool [Win10] [TB v38.5.1] Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Yes it works.. but you have to activate it from options because after installation default options does not change the default behavior of TB.
Add-ons manager (or Tools add-ons) -- > Extensions -- > select options of this extensions and change the behavior you want.
I chose "Instead of closing and minimizing"
Clever! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I keep a minimized FF on tray at all times, immenediately after windows log in. It makes loading a (second) session/window whnen I need it so much faster! Faster than chrome that is! ;)
Wonderful Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Really makes the tray more useful!
doesn't work properly Rated 1 out of 5 stars
only one star because with thunderbird 38.3.0 and windows7 64bit doesn't work properly. It minimize to tray but it is not possible to write a new message or check mail and other functions.

great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Only works on minimize, not on close Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Tried on Fx 42 beta, Linux, XCFE 4.12 (Debian).
Closing Firefox doesn't minimize, but closes the program.
Doesn't work on Linux Mint Cinnamon / GNOME3 Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Works perfectly on GNOME2 but when minimizing doesn't works on GNOME3 desktops like Cinnamon, only work when I close. Maybe is problem by Thunderbird's 38.2.0 version. Please fix it, is a very useful extension.
Absolutely not working on Thunderbird 38.2.0 and Firefox 40.0.3 on Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Absolutely not working on Thunderbird 38.2.0 and Firefox 40.0.3 on Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon :(
So bad that these Mozilla apps dont include this feature as default, same as Microsoft Outlook, as we all wanna receive our emails all day but who wanna waste a large space for a window on its tray...?
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Does not work for Thunderbird 38.2.0 under Mint, so probably same problem in Ubuntu 14.04
