- Rated 5 out of 5by sleepytiramisu, 7 days agoI've been using this for awhile now, how long? I don't know but there wasn't many reviews when I decided to use it. I just wanted to leave a review now and while I can't say anything about a lot of the features since I don't use them but the ones I've been using have worked with no issues and been perfect for my use of it; which is mainly the loop button, automatic quality setting and volume boost. I've been testing the themes recently though and I've liked them. Thanks for the extension and the work you put into it VampireChicken & everyone else! :)

posted 7 days agoThank you for reviewing! I appreciate the kind words. I'm currently working on fixing features broken by the new YouTube layout. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15243999, 9 days agoDoes what it says out of the box. Alot of options and functionality. I chose this to replace "Enhancer for Youtube" after it disappeared from the addon list

- Rated 5 out of 5by KenAdams, 20 days agoAdds tons of new functionalities and changes YT's behavior to suit what I want.
One caveat - with the latest version, blocking YT Shorts doesn't work correctly anymore. This is the option that made me install this add-on in the fist place, so I'm hoping it gets fixed as soon as possible.
[edit] After reading the author's reply, I updated Firefox from version 143.0.1 to 143.0.3 and it indeed started to hide shorts as expected. Perfect!Developer response
posted 19 days agoWhat version of the extension are you having this issue with 'Hide shorts' not working, I tested with version 1.28.1 and Firefox version 143.03 on Windows 10 22H2 and it worked fine for me. If you are able to you can provide more information on the

- Rated 5 out of 5by Bobbey, a month agoDev even added a feature I requested. I really have to read the description of this extension to even know what it does - it's all natural for me now. I install this each and every time.

- Rated 5 out of 5by abc, 3 months agoThe only open-source general youtube enchancer I know, works great
- Rated 5 out of 5by Bradley Schneider, 3 months agoWonderful Add-On with source code available under MIT License. I replaced "Enhancer for Youtube" with this entirely about a year ago and realized I should probably give it some love. The former is no longer as reliable as it once was unfortunately and this add-on implements most of the same features and just does it better as far as I'm concerned.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Genomu, 6 months agoA great alternative to the "Enhancer for youtube" that stopped working. The only important thing missing at this time is the popup player that appears as you scroll down to read the comments. Thank you for making this.
- Rated 5 out of 5by carbonbear, 7 months agoGreat little add-on for Firefox. Still giving it 5 stars despite the playlist annoyance.
There's no setting to disable the add-on from hiding playlists which means no auto-play music. I can disable the add-on, but I still have to restart Firefox to see playlists again.
Edit: Disabling the add-on actually does nothing even with restarting. I wish a setting to view playlists was a thing.Developer response
posted 7 months agoThe addon doesn't have a hide playlist feature, every feature this addon adds must be enabled by the user it does nothing by default. I think you may have reviewed the wrong extension. - Rated 5 out of 5by Memomix, 9 months agoI like your extension thank you, so I have some requests; can you add "Pop-up player" when you scroll down for reading comments need to continue to watch the video..
and can you add "Automatically expand the video player" not just a manual button.
the last one is "Automatically sort comments from newest to oldest" this improvments will be perfect for the extension. Best Regards.
Answer to Developer: Thanks for your response.
"Are you talking about maximizing the player?" Yes automatically maximizing. Waiting for new features.. Thanks again. I wish you success.Developer response
posted 9 months agoThank you for your review. I have planned to add a pop-up player feature. Are you talking about maximizing the player? If so, that is another feature that has been in the works but is not finished. I can look into automatically sorting the comments from newest to oldest.
