- Rated 2 out of 5by NC, 4 years agoI now consider this add-on all but abandoned. To be fair, it does technically work as described, namely for those that want to implement their own small custom personal scripts. The issue is that the plugin is completely tied into their userstyles site, which has been absolutely crippled for years. It is near impossible to get the pages to load, and without that ability there is no way to find and download professional themes, or access support materials. Do yourself the favor and choose an option with developers that take pride in ownership over the quality of their work.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Savva Zhukov, 4 years agoGood for themes, but everything is SO SLOW. the extension itself would NEVER load themes when you click on it for the GUI to appear. The website is so slow it just gets 504 timeout errors. The servers are impossibly slow and this extension is only usable when you finish waiting.

- Rated 2 out of 5by joeTaco, 4 years agoCool idea, but every theme is anime, it's not easy to filter them out, and the website you use to browse the themes is slow as molasses.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14646029, 4 years agoit works but the website is incredibly slow please fix it it takes like 10 minutes to load the site and it always gives bad gateway errors

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13717063, 6 years agoWorks great, but uses WAY too many resources. My laptop's battery drains very quickly and the CPU usage is always high whenever Firefox is open. The moment I uninstalled this extension, the CPU usage dropped back to normal. Will reinstall once something is done about this.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Acsor, 6 years agoOne of the few addons I would ever stick to my collection, ever since upgrading to Firefox Quantum 60+ has been reporting database errors. It is otherwise unusable and the troubleshoots I have attempted provided no solution.
Meanwhile, I'm relying on anti-strain droplets from my pharmacy to aid me in reducing visual stress. - Rated 2 out of 5by RussL, 6 years agoUpdate deleted my styles and is completely broken in my older version of FF. What happened to version compatibility checking before update?

- Rated 2 out of 5by Simon, 6 years agoThe new CSSLint feature is beyond annoying and looks stupid. It shows warning like "Don't use IDs in selectors." and "Use of !important". How is it possible to change the style without using "!important"?
There should be a way to disable it or fine tune those warnings. Or better, just completely remove it and save some CPU resources and developers' brain cells.Developer response
posted 6 years agoHi Simon, we're aware of the CSSLint and we plan to update this library soon. In the meantime, can you please share more information about the '!important' issue you've reported? I've tried to replicate and couldn't. Can you give me steps to reproduce? - Rated 2 out of 5by hyperfekt, 6 years agoAs opposed to other styling plugins, this one does not apply rules that aren't marked with !important correctly, making it harder to create styles or breaking existing ones.
- Rated 2 out of 5by SpectreWulf, 7 years agoWas working perfectly until today the extension is not at all recognized by the https://userstyles.org site and neither is the icon showing up properly in the toolbar.
Reinstalling doesn't help.Developer response

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 10206391, 7 years agoA potentially useful extension, with many possibilites---all of which, unfortunately, are useless due to absolutely NO instructions.
How a developer expects anyone other than advanced 'power users' to somehow magically learn the use of their programs is beyond me. It is, however, how more than 99.99% of apps, programs, and extensions are released these days.
Totally frustrating, especially when a page of basic assumptions, instructions and examples would demystify this extension's use for most people.
Opaque and unworkable. - Rated 2 out of 5by Franklin Yu, 7 years ago1. More users should be aware of the data collection behavior of Stylish. It’s sneaky to enable that without notifying user with changelog. I don’t mind tracking and ads, but I do want to get informed.
2. You lose user if you don’t allow them to opt out.
3. You don’t even respond to negative reviews.
Stylus is really much better. They at least fix bugs.
Not giving one-star because the developer (now company) still hosts User Styles, a good distribution site for styles. But this add-on itself deserves no star. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13402379, 7 years agoSince this tool is not opensource I do not recomment to use. Some users claims it has trackers. There is open alternaives (search 'Stylus', etc.)

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13501476, 7 years agoI´ve read in the stylish forum that "As far as we know, no WebExtensions-based extension can restyle the browser user interface, only web pages. To restyle the interface, a userChrome.css file will be required. http://kb.mozillazine.org/UserChrome.css" https://forum.userstyles.org/discussion/58456/firefox-version-for-57-and-beyond.
If this is so, all the topics that modified the interface of mozilla and that can not be recovered from the previous version are not really useful at all?Developer response
