- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14720242, 4 days agothank you so much for this, it solves several issues i had on streamlining pwa usage on my fedora/gnome.
- Rated 4 out of 5by xalente, 9 days agoGreat extension. Though, weird issue happens to me when I pin them to the taskbar (Windows 11), it reverts to the Firefox icon. Also, it would be great in the future if we could add the web apps to the Windows Start Menu.
Edit to answer the reply: Yes, the behavior (reverting to the Firefox icon when pinned to the taskbar) happens with all the web apps (I created 10).Developer response
posted 8 days agoDoes it happen with all PWAs or just specific ones? If it's just some, it might be because they're using SVG icons, which aren't fully supported currently. That will be fixed in the future. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14789689, 18 days agoI was so very disappointed that I couldn't turn my favorite web based email program, which doesnt offer a desktop app, into a web app the way you can in MS Edge. After installing a couple of necessary support pieces .. this works like a CHARM! My Web based email now works as well as any desktop application.
- Rated 5 out of 5by DK, 20 days agoIncredible. Shame on firefox for removing this feature. It sucks to have to run it as another service, but if it's the only way for this to work, then I'll continue using it. BIG THANK YOU to the developer. You're doing amazing work.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Daniele, 24 days agoI installed the PWA but even if I install the deb package (OS Ubuntu 24.04 Firefox flatpak version) I cannot select the runtime installation
Developer response
posted 22 days agoFlatpak is not supported because it doesn't provide the necessary APIs yet. You can read more details here: https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/faq/#why-doesnt-the-extension-find-the-native-connector-on-linux
You will need to use normal Firefox (from Mozilla website or their DEB repository) instead. - Rated 5 out of 5by slucas, a month ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Glen, a month agoI do not understand why Mozilla stopped development on PWAs. This extension works really well once set up, and fills in this feature gap.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Barra Darcy, 2 months agoGreat idea for an extension but every webapp opens in a new instance/window of FF and needs to be signed into even if you're signed in already on the main browser. This has huge potential and I'd love if someone fixed this:)

posted 3 months agoWell, that shouldn't happen. It seems to work fine with all recent Firefox versions, including 127.0.2.- Rated 1 out of 5by A. TV, 3 months agoI would steer clear of this extension. It totally screwed my entire system. It took me hours to get it back to normal.
Developer response
posted 3 months agoThat doesn't really make sense. If you have problems, please create an issue on GitHub. - Rated 2 out of 5by Mystic Productions, 3 months agoi have both extension and firefoxpwa installed but it says unexpected error occured, does e being user of windows 7 play factor in that?
Developer response
posted 3 months agoPlease check troubleshooting tasks (https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/troubleshooting/) to obtain the extension and native logs and create an issue on GitHub. Also, Windows 7 is no longer supported, so you might experience issues because of that. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18439079, 3 months ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by SeaMonkey45, 4 months agoBest pwas imo. Only thing that made me stop using it was that it stopped registering the .rpm file forcing me out of the manager. Wish the installation screen had a skip button in the event of this. Also it would cool to have some way to copy and paste the webapps on to different devices. Could be like Firefox sync or just some file but either way it would be a cool feature.
Developer response
posted 4 months agoWhat do you mean by "stopped registering the .rpm file"? Please create an issue on GitHub about that.
Also, you can already copy and paste the webapps on to a different device. Just copy the config file and the profiles directory in the user data directory (https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/resources/installation-directories/#user-data) to another device and run "Update web apps" from the extension settings on the target device. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 6909674, 4 months agoIt works for me on Linux, unfortunately it doesn't on Mac M1, I can't make it work, even though the installation of the necessary packages is successful. Anyone here help me??
